Born in Hyogo, Japan in 1936. Started to work as a graphic designer in the local newspaper company, and work independently after 1959. He made an declaration as a painter in 1980, and his works are varied from nature painting to portraits of celebrity. His works are known for having psychedelic and surrealistic taste.
