Born in South Africa in 1926. His career has begun as an advertisement photographer in Africa during 1950’s , but he worked on artistic photography after 1960’s. His photo-book, “Cowboy Kate” is well-known for its reputation as the first artistic monochrome photography in the 20th century. The fusion of fashion and nude photography has become his taste, and he mainly worked on fashion photographs after 00s’.
