Anna Choi, a Korean designer of HAENGNAE raised in Japan, studied abroad at Nottingham Trent University in UK as a scholarship student after winning the Kobe Fashion Contest while attending Bunka Fashion College. The haute couture collection presented at Graduate Fashion Week attracted attention, developing a collection that combines Japanese craftsmanship, European haute couture techniques, and one's own identity.
